Visio Divina is the practice of sacred seeing through the contemplation of visual images. This practice is a variation of the Benedictine Christian contemplation practice, Lectio Divina.

Prepare

Read
Read the book.
Mindful Moment
Take a moment to review the book in your mind. Which picture stood out to you? Turn to the selected picture and sit in front of the page, scan it slowly. If your children can, let silence take over for a moment or two. (If not, that is okay and completely normal).
